Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a battery switching method, a battery management system and a power supply device. In some embodiments, at least two energy storage units, for example, battery packs, are provided. A first energy storage unit initially provides power to an electric motor of a vehicle. When an energylevel of the first energy storage unit fallsbelow a predetermined level, the electric motor is operated at acurrent or power level that is below a given threshold, and a source of power to the electric motor is switched from the first energy storage unit to the second energy storage unit. Power to the electric motor is then supplied from the second energy storage unit.
