Abstract:

The present invention provides a diagnosis method, a diagnosis system, and a control method for the diagnosis system, whereby specific behavior of a long body can be easily detected with high accuracy. This diagnosis method for diagnosing the behavior of a guiding catheter (30) having a distal end and a proximal end in a lumen has: a step for inserting the guiding catheter (30) into the lumen from the distal end; a step for irradiating the body inside with energy from the body outside and then detecting, from the body outside, the energy that has passed through the body; a step for specifying the position of the guiding catheter (30) inside the body by means of the detected energy; and a step for comparing the specified position of the catheter (30) with an expected position (P1) which is the position of the catheter (30) in the case of suitable behavior, and detecting specific behavior of the guiding catheter (30) from the deviation amount (D) of the position of the guiding catheter (30) from the expected position (P1).
