Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to more suitably detect a fault accompanying a reduction in pre-load of a ball screw unit. Fault diagnosis of the ball screw unit is performed on the basis of the combination of: a resonance frequency in the axial direction of a prescribed machine structure that includes the ball screw unit and the motor, when a screw shaft is rotationally driven by the motor; and the position of a nut member of the screw shaft corresponding to said resonance frequency.
