Abstract:
A diagnostic device of a sensor (100) which detects nitrogen compounds in exhaust gas, provided in an exhaust gas passage (11) of an internal-combustion engine (10) of a vehicle, wherein said diagnostic device is provided with: an offset diagnosing unit (42) which, on the basis of a sensor value from the sensor (100), diagnoses an amount of offset from a zero point of the sensor value during deceleration of the vehicle, in which the internal-combustion engine (10) has stopped injecting fuel; and a diagnosis blocking processing unit (44) which blocks the offset amount diagnosis if the exhaust gas flow rate from the internal-combustion engine (10) suddenly increases while the offset amount is being diagnosed by the offset diagnosing unit (42).
