Abstract:
The diagonal ventilator or set of ventilators in this invention is used in confined spaces to heat or cool products through a forced flow, in batch or continuous process with or without additional injection of hot or cold gas. The inlet flow (3) is radial and the outlet flow (4) axial. The transition form radial to axial is achieved by means of special designed ventilator blades (2) or by means of combined blades with radial (5) and axial (6) functionality. The combination can by physically connected or not. The ventilator flow can or cannot be supported by additional ducts or deflector plates in the confined space to facilitate the transition of the flow.
