Abstract:
A dial lock for a bag, where, when the dial lock is locked, it can be unlocked and relocked when needed by only an authorized inspector using a special master key. A center lock (6) of a bag has an ordinary dial lock (20) with a dial (21) and also has an operation section (50) operable by the master key which only the inspector has. A bolt of the dial lock has at one end a pressing section. To unlock the dial lock, the pressing section of the bolt is pressed by operating the master key inserted in a key hole (52) in a key hole plate (51) of the operation section (50). The key hole plate (51) rotated along with the key has an oval shape formed by cutting two parts of a disc. When the key is turned to an unlock state, a front plate (53) of the operation section (50) is at a position visible from the cut portions of the key hole plate. The visible portion of the front plate is formed as a colored section (54) so that the lock is unlocked can be recognized at a glance, which prevents the inspector from forgetting to relock the lock.
