Abstract:
Disclosed is a dial plate for a watch, which comprises: a base material mainly
comprising polycarbonate; a titanium oxide microparticle-dispersed layer
comprising a titanium oxide microparticle composed of titanium oxide and dispersed
in a dispersion medium; and a silicon oxide microparticle-dispersed layer comprising
a silicon oxide microparticle composed of silicon oxide and dispersed in a dispersion
medium. In the dial plate, the titanium oxide microparticle-dispersed layer
is provided on one surface of the base material, and the silicon oxide microparticle-dispersed
layer is provided on the other surface of the base material. Preferably, the
titanium oxide microparticle has an average particle diameter of 2 to 30 nm.
