Abstract:
A diamond-coated tool provided with a blade that comprises a base material and a diamond layer provided on the base material, wherein when the length of the blade along the direction in which the blade extends is L and the thickness of the diamond layer of the blade is measured at 11 points in total that are aligned from one end of the blade along the direction in which the blade extends and that are spaced apart from each other at a distance of L/10, the thickness is the same at all of the points, or dmin/dmax, which is the ratio of the minimum value dmin of the thickness and the maximum value dmax of the thickness, is not less than 0.7 but less than 1.
