A diaper, comprising a generally T-shaped outside surface member (A)(1) having wing parts (3, 3’) stacked each other on the abdominal front side of a wearer and the portion thereof covering from a hip part to an abdominal part through a crotch part and an inside surface member (B)(2) stackingly fixed to the outside surface member (A), covering from the hip part to at least the lower part of the abdominal part through the crotch part, and having a portion in contact with the thigh part of the wearer smaller in width than the outside surface member (A)(1). The inside surface member (B) is formed of an inextensible fabric using yarns including fibers with excellent water absorbency, and the outside surface member (A) is formed of an extensible fabric including antistatic synthetic fiber yarns. Thus, the diaper capable of absorbing urine, fitted to thighs when it is worn to less leak urine from therearound, less producing displacement while it is worn, less causing problems due to the occurrence of static electricity, allowing the saving of drying time after washing and cost, and easily manufacturable can be provided.
