Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a diaphragm for redox flow batteries, said diaphragm being suppressed in curling, while exhibiting high electric power efficiency; a diaphragm electrode assembly for redox flow batteries; a cell for redox flow batteries; and a redox flow battery. This problem is able to be solved by a diaphragm for redox flow batteries, said diaphragm being sequentially provided with a first ion exchange resin layer, an anion exchange resin layer that contains an anion exchange compound, and a second ion exchange resin layer in this order, wherein: the value obtained by dividing the thickness of the first ion exchange resin layer by the thickness of the second ion exchange resin layer is from 0.7 to 1.3; and the thickness of the anion exchange resin layer is from 0.02 μm to 3 μm.
