Abstract:
A diaphragm and a sound generation apparatus using same. The diaphragm comprises a diaphragm body part and a composite layer bonded to the central position of the diaphragm body part, wherein the composite layer comprises a porous material layer, and a first metal layer and a second metal layer respectively provided on either side of the porous material layer. Compared with related art, the composite layer of the diaphragm uses a structure made up of a porous material layer and metal layers, such that the mass of the diaphragm can be reduced while ensuring vibration rigidity, thus improving the modulus-to-density ratio of the diaphragm; in addition, a porously structured material can increase the damping of the diaphragm, absorbs the energy of vibration under a specific resonant frequency, effectively improves high-frequency split vibration, reduces distortion, and improves high pitch quality.
