Abstract:
A diaphragm for a vehicle brake of the present invention comprises a container-like part and a flange part formed around an opening of the container-like part, wherein each of the container-like part and the flange part comprises a rubber main body comprising a silicone rubber and a base cloth embedded in the rubber main body, the base cloth comprises aramid short fibers or polyester fibers, and the base cloth has a thickness of 0.25 mm or more. The diaphragm can exhibit durability when used in a high-temperature area and an ambient temperature area, and can also exhibit superior durability when used in a low temperature area.
