The present invention relates to a technical idea of recording, when digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) information on a patient having agreed to handling of personal information is generated, the DICOM through a separate server, and providing same to an authenticated and authorized agency, and a DICOM information management method, according to one embodiment, can comprise the steps of allowing: a hospital server to generate DICOM information on the basis of medical records on a patient; the hospital server to determine, with reference to a database maintaining a personal information handling agreement, whether the patient has agreed to handling of personal information; the hospital server to transmit, to an information management server, the generated DICOM information together with the personal information handling agreement for the patient when the patient has agreed to the handling of personal information, as a result of the determination; and the information management server to record and manage the DICOM information on the patient together with the personal information handling agreement.
