Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a process for producing a hollow molded item of resin, in which in the fitting of a given part on the inside of a hollow molded item produced by blow molding, the fitting can be carried out easily, and in which with respect to a hollow molded item, such as a fuel tank for vehicles, to accommodate a volatile liquid thereinside, excellent gas barrier properties can be realized against gas components. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided a process characterized in that a product of hollow molded item is obtained by expanding parison (6) of thermoplastic resin extruded into tubular form by blowmolding, once dividing die assembly (2,4), thereafter fitting given parts (32,34) in the die assembly (2,4) and again joining the divided surfaces together.
