Abstract:
A die installation mechanism in a thread-cutting machine, where a thread portion is formed in a blank material by moving a moving die along a stationary die with the blank material clasped by the stationary die and the moving die. The die installation mechanism has a first reference joint surface for installing a stationary die on a removable stationary die block and has a first installation hole. The die installation mechanism further has a second reference joint surface for installing the moving die on a removable moving die block and has a second installation hole. The structure above enables a worker to simply and accurately install each die on the corresponding die block in an unrestricted environment.
