Abstract:
Provided are a manufacturing device and a manufacturing method that make it possible to continuously mold sheet-like prepregs with excellent external appearance over a long period. For that purpose, a die for sheet-like prepreg molding comprises a resin impregnation section that impregnates reinforcement fiber bundles arranged in a sheet-like shape with a thermoplastic resin and a nozzle for pultrusion of the reinforcement fiber bundles impregnated with the thermoplastic resin by the resin impregnation section, wherein: in the nozzle, a nozzle hole is demarcated by a pair of wall surfaces that define the width direction of the sheet-like prepreg and a top surface and a base surface that define the thickness direction of the sheet-like prepreg; a cross-section of the nozzle hole is a rectangular slit; and the top surface or the base surface is guided by the wall surfaces to move in the thickness direction of the sheet-like prepreg to adjust the height of the slit.
