Abstract:
A die for press and a die for punch press, the die comprising a fosse-like groove (3) disposed so as to surround a punched hole (2) and through-slits (4a), (4b), (4c) and (4d) extending in a district between the peripheral edges of the punched hole (2) and the fosse-like groove. In the shearing step in which the die for press is pushed down by the hammering element (striker) of a turret punch press, the through-slits (4a), (4b), (4c), and (4d) are opened and the groove (3) is narrowed according to the magnitude of a punching load to expand die blade tip portions (5a), (5b), (5c), and (5d) at the peripheral edges of the punched hole (2).
