Abstract:
This die sinking electric discharge machine comprises: a result storage unit (453) that stores a plurality of measurement results of the dimensions and reference positions of a workpiece, and measurement results of the dimensions and reference positions of a machining electrode; a result display unit (454) that displays a list of the plurality of measurement results stored in the result storage unit (453); a selected value reflecting unit (460) that determines measurement results selected from among the displayed list as measurement results to be used for correcting the positions of the tool electrode and the workpiece; and a main control unit that implements, on the basis of the measurement results determined by the selected value reflecting unit (460), electric discharge machining after the positions of the tool electrode and the workpiece have been corrected.
