Abstract:
A magazine raising/lowering part (34) of a die supply apparatus (12) is configured in such a manner as to allow magazine racks with different specifications to be replaced and mounted. A code display part (57), upon which identification information ("magazine rack ID" below) for each magazine rack is printed, is disposed on each magazine rack. Magazine rack IDs and specification data for the magazine racks are registered in a database of a host computer (62) in association with each other. When a magazine rack accommodating a wafer stretching body (35) is mounted on the magazine raising/lowering part (34), the magazine rack ID from the code display part (57) of the magazine rack is read by a reader (58) and forwarded to the host computer (62). The database of the host computer (62) is searched, and specification data for the magazine rack corresponding to the magazine rack ID is acquired and forwarded to the die supply apparatus (12), and the raising/lowering movement of the magazine rack is controlled by a raising/lowering mechanism (49).
