Abstract:
The present application discloses a dielectric filter and a communication device, which can reduce the size of the dielectric filter and achieve the filtering effect with the wider pass band. The dielectric filter includes a housing, a dielectric resonator and a cover plate, wherein, the shell has an open end, the cover plate is arranged at the open end to form a resonant cavity; the dielectric resonator is arranged in the resonant cavity, the dielectric resonator is a hollow columnar structure, including an inner wall, a first end surface and a second end surface opposite to each other, the second end surface includes a first annular zone and a second annular zone located inside the first annular zone, the inner wall, the first end surface and the surface of the first annular zone are respectively metalized surfaces, the first end surface is in contact with the bottom surface of the housing, and the first annular zone is in contact with the cover plate.
