Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a dielectric layer which is highly durable and does not require measures for preventing health problems, and in which good information recording in a directly-laminated oxide-based recording layer is possible. This dielectric layer is formed of an oxide containing elemental Sn and at least one element among elemental Zn, Zr, Si, and Ga, and satisfies equations (1)-(7) below: (1) 0≤b/(a+b)≤0.6, (2) 0≤(c+d)/(a+b+c+d+e)≤0.5, (3) 0≤b≤50, (4) 0≤c≤40, (5) 0≤d≤45, (6) 0≤e≤40, (7) 20≤b+c+d+e≤80, where a, b, c, d, and e are respectively the content of elemental Sn, the content of elemental Zn, the content of elemental Zr, the content of elemental Si, and the content of elemental Ga in mol% with respect to all elements other than oxygen in the oxide.
