Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric reproduction device and a dielectric recording and reproduction device that can increase reproduction speed. SOLUTION: A detection means 11 is provided so as to be able to perform a scan relative to a data recording layer 1 formed from a dielectric material, and detect the polarization state of each bit 1a of data recorded in the data recording layer 1. A heating means 12 is provided so as to be able to heat the bit 1a that is being detected to a set temperature while the detection means 11 is detecting the polarization state thereof. A reproduction means 13 is provided so as to be able to reproduce data on the basis of the polarization state of each bit 1a as detected by the detection means 11.
