Abstract:
A dielectric resonator which can be reduced in size and in which the coupling between a resonance section and electrodes closely arranged to the resonance section can be adjusted easily. Conductors (2a and 2b) having openings are formed on both major surfaces of a dielectric substrate (2) so that the openings may face to each other. Electrodes (5 and 6) are respectively formed on one major surface of supporting members (3a and 3b). The supporting members (3a and 3b) are so arranged with spacers (9) in between that the members (3a and 3b) may face to the substrate (2) at prescribed intervals in the thickness direction of the substrate (2). First and second conductor plates (4a and 4b) are arranged at prescribed intervals from the substrate (2) and supporting members (3a and 3b). The part of the dielectric substrate (2) between the facing openings of the conductors (2a and 2b) serves as a resonance section.
