Title:
DIENE-BASED CARBOXYLATE ANION AND SALT THEREOF, AND POLYMERIZABLE OR CURABLE COMPOSITION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/046787
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a diene-based carboxylate anion, and salt thereof, which has a specific structure and is a previously unstudied novel compound, and furthermore to provide a diene-based carboxylate anion and salt thereof, particularly a metal salt thereof, which is readily soluble in commonly used organic solvents, reactive diluents, and resins, can also be in a liquid state at normal temperatures, depending on the structure thereof, and is furthermore highly polymerizable. The anion or salt thereof, when polymerized or cured, becomes a resin having a structure to which many ionic bonds as well as a metal have been introduced, and exhibits hardness, abrasion resistance, fingerprint resistance, gas barrier properties, water vapor barrier properties, oxygen absorbance, ultraviolet blocking, infrared blocking, coloring/coloration, high refractive index, adhesion, various catalytic abilities, fluorescence/luminescence, optical amplification, dispersibility, static prevention, and various other properties. The anion or salt thereof is also useful as a raw material for functional microparticles or as a raw material for a metallic nanoparticle composite, and can further be appropriately used as an MOD material. Also provided is an advantageous method for producing the diene-based carboxylate anion and salt thereof.
