Title:
DIESEL ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/047270
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a diesel engine with which it is possible to prevent the problem whereby unburned fuel slips through the DOC when the DOC has deteriorated. In order to solve this problem, after the estimated PM deposition value for a DPF has reached a prescribed regeneration request value, a control means calculates a post-injection amount on the basis of the exhaust flow volume and the DOC inlet exhaust temperature (S3), and a regeneration process is performed on the DPF by means of the post-injection (S4), after which the control means compares the detected value for the DOC outlet exhaust temperature and a theoretical value for the DOC outlet exhaust temperature when the DOC has not deteriorated, and when the detected value for the DOC outlet exhaust temperature is lower than the theoretical value for the DOC outlet exhaust temperature, the control means performs a correction (S7) to reduce the post-injection amount.
