Abstract:
The invention relates to diesel engines whose degree of compression is increased up to 80. The inventive engine comprises a cylinder (1) with a piston (2), a vacuum sensor mounted in an intake manifold (5) after a throttle gate (6), an electronic control unit (11), a vacuum pump (12) provided with a drive (13) and an air flow controller (9). When a specified vacuum level is attained in the intake manifold (5), the electronic control unit (11) sends a signal to a starter for turning a shaft, signals to a fuel injecting device (10) and the flow controller (9), thereby supplying air and fuel to the cylinder. While the shaft rotates, the electronic control unit (11) produces a signal for the airflow controller (9), thereby maintaining the specified vacuum level in the intake manifold (5). Once the engine is started, the vacuum pump (12) is deactivated.
