Abstract:
A different materials-laminate metal plate wherein a plurality of metal plates different in quality are simply and strongly joined to have a wide variety of characteristics, making it possible to reduce the production costs; a different materials-laminate core; and a method of producing the same. That is, a different materials-laminate metal plate composed by superposing a plurality of metal plates different in quality and joining them together is constructed such that a first different materials-laminate metal plate member body having a notch in the intermediate region and formed with a crimping projection undercutting the longitudinal opposite ends of the notch, and a second different materials-laminate metal plate member body formed with a crimping hole adapted to receive the crimping projection are joined by crimping the crimping projection on the first different materials-laminate metal plate member body and the crimping hole in the second different materials-laminate metal plate member body, thereby joining the plurality of different materials-laminate metal plate members.
