Abstract:
A differential (200) and an assembly method thereof. The differential (200) comprises: a housing (210), wherein a first end of the housing (210) is open so as to form a mounting opening (211), and two holes (212) are provided on a peripheral wall of the housing (210); a first side gear (220), wherein the first side gear (220) is located at the first end, is mounted inside the housing (210), and is rotatable about its own axis thereof; a second side gear (230), wherein the second side gear (230) is located at a second end of the housing (210) opposite the first end, is mounted inside the housing (210), and is rotatable about its own axis thereof, and teeth portions of the first side gear (220) and the second side gear (230) are opposite each other; two planetary gear shafts (240), wherein the two planetary gear shafts (240) are located between the first side gear (220) and the second side gear (230) and are arranged respectively corresponding to the two holes (212), each of the planetary gear shafts (240) comprises a gear portion (241), and the two gear portions (241) respectively mesh with the teeth portions of the first side gear (220) and the second side gear (230); and a shaft portion (242), wherein the shaft portion (242) is fixedly connected to the gear portion (241) and is rotatably supported in a corresponding hole (212). Each of the planetary gear shafts (240) are rotatable about their own rotation axes thereof inside the housing (210), and the rotation axes of the two planetary gear shafts (240) coincide.
