Abstract:
Provided is a differential device in which an output gear (30) comprises: a thrust supported surface (101); a first elastic member receiving surface (201) that is adjacent to the inner side of the thrust supported surface in the radial direction of the output gear; and a first inner end surface (301) that is adjacent to the inner side of the first elastic member receiving surface in the radial direction of the output gear. An input member (10) comprises: a thrust support surface (102) that supports the supported surface either directly or via a washer (34); a second elastic member receiving surface (202) that is adjacent to the inner side of the thrust support surface in the radial direction of the output gear, and that opposes the first elastic member receiving surface with an elastic member (50) therebetween; and a second inner end surface (302) that is adjacent to the inner side of the second elastic member receiving surface in the radial direction of the output gear, and that opposes the first inner end surface with a gap (500) therebetween. An open end (500e) on the inner side of the gap in the radial direction of the output gear is formed with a width (w) that is smaller than the thickness (t) of an elastic locking member (41). Due to this configuration, the assemblability of the differential device can be improved.
