Abstract:

This differential device is provided with: a differential casing (10) having a flange part (11); and a differential ring gear (40) having a teeth part, a fixing and supporting part (45), and a connection part. The differential casing (10) has a first contact surface (10a) and a restriction part (10b), and the differential ring gear (40) has a second contact surface (40a) and a contact part (40b). A welding part formed by welding the flange part (11) of the differential casing (10) and the fixing and supporting part (45) of the differential ring gear (4) is disposed at a position different from the contact portion between the first contact surface (10a) and the second contact surface (40a) and the contact portion between the restriction part (10b) and the contact part (40b).
