Abstract:
A differential upgrading method, device and system, the method being specifically: before a terminal device upgrades a system from an original version to a target version by means of differential upgrade, using an object in the original version of the system which is different from the target version of the system as an upgrade object; acquiring repair data for the upgrade object, and repairing the system of the terminal device using the repair data to obtain a repaired system of the terminal device which is consistent with the original version of the system; and then performing a differential upgrade on the repaired system of the terminal device so as to upgrade the repaired system from the original version to the target version. The described method uses the repair data to repair the system of the terminal device, which ensures that the repaired system of the terminal device is consistent with the original version of the system, thereby being able to ensure that the terminal device may upgrade the system by using a differential upgrade mode.
