Abstract:
Provided is a novel manufacturing method for a diffractive lens, whereby aperture and eccentricity effects can be suppressed and any multifocal focus effect can also be obtained in a more stable manner. At least two types of relief gratings (32) and (34), which provide focal distances having mutually differing primary diffraction light are overlaid in at least one diameter-direction area of a diffractive lens 10, a synchronized structure is set such that the lattice pitch of other relief gratings periodically matches the lattice pitch of the relief grating having the maximum lattice pitch among the overlaid relief gratings, the obtained relief grating (30) being formed on a surface (24) of an optical material (10).
