Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a diffusion plate whereby a more uniform diffusion angle distribution characteristic can be realized, a display device, a projection device, and an illumination device. [Solution] The present invention is a microlens-array-type diffusion plate comprising a single-lens group positioned on a surface of a transparent substrate, the opening size and curvature radius of each single lens constituting part of the single-lens group varying with respect to the single-lens group overall, the apex position of each single lens being irregularly disposed, and the energy distribution of light passing through the single-lens group being substantially uniform in a predetermined diffusion angle range.
