Abstract:
An extremum calculation unit (11) detects a maximum sample and a minimum sample in a digital audio signal. A sample number detection unit (12) detects a sample interval between the maximum sample and the minimum sample. A difference calculation unit (13) calculates the difference between adjacent samples. A correction value calculation unit (14) calculates first and second correction values obtained by respectively multiplying a coefficient by the difference between the maximum sample and a first adjacent sample and the difference between the minimum sample and a second adjacent sample. An addition and subtraction unit (15) adds the first correction value to the first adjacent sample and subtracts the second correction value from the second adjacent sample. The digital audio processing device is configured not to add the first correction value to the first adjacent sample and not to subtract the second correction value from the second adjacent sample when a periodic signal detection unit (16) detects that the digital audio signal is a single sine wave.
