A digital camera is provided with a RAW data conversion unit for converting the pixel value of each color of RAW data into a value corresponding to a predetermined spectral characteristic, and an output image conversion unit for converting the value corresponding to the spectral characteristic and converted by means of the RAW data conversion unit into predetermined output image data.
