Abstract:
A digital camera rental system for renting a digital camera to a user, recovering the camera, and outputting the photograph data in the camera, comprising a rental device that is provided with a digital camera outlet/inlet port, a sensor for detecting a failure of a digital camera, an acceptable digital camera stocker where acceptable digital cameras are stored, a defective digital camera stocker where defective digital cameras are stored, a printer for outputting photograph data, a network interface for outputting defect information, inventory information, and photograph data, a device operating unit, a device display unit, and a control unit for other units, and a center server for receiving the defect information and acceptable digital camera stock lack information from the rental device and monitoring the rental device.
