Abstract:
A digital camera is provided with an image pickup unit for shooting an object and
outputting a shot image; a shake quantity detecting unit for detecting a shake
amount of the digital camera; a blur correction operating unit operated for making
a blur correcting function effective; and a control unit which, once the blur
correction operating unit is operated, makes operation of a first blur correcting
function effective for setting a shooting condition in the image pickup unit
to a high-sensitivity-oriented shooting condition, makes that of a second blur
correcting function effective for carrying out image processing of a blur correction
with respect to the image shot by the image pickup unit, and controls on the basis
of the shake quantity detected by the shake quantity detecting unit whether to
apply it to the image of the effective operation of the second blur correcting
function.
