Title:
DIGITAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, ITS TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER, AND FRAME SYNCHRONIZATION DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2000/013359
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A transmitter generates a synchronization pattern comprising a sequence generated by arranging a predetermined basic pattern made up of a combination of a predetermined number of symbols and an inversion basic pattern made up of symbols generated by inverting the polarities of the symbols of the basic pattern in an order corresponding to an inversion pattern, and transmits transmission data to which the synchronization pattern is attached every predetermined time. A receiver correlates the basic pattern of the synchronization pattern with the inversion basic pattern by using a matched filter (11) corresponding to the basic pattern and takes the correlation of the inversion pattern appearing in the signal generated as the result of the former correlation by using a matched filter including a delay section (12), a multiplier (13), and an adder (14).
