Abstract:
The present application provides a digital content sending device and method, and a digital content receiving device and method by which a 2K receiving device can use a content form of a partial transport stream (TS) of 4K/8K broadcast content. The digital content sending device involved in one embodiment has a receiving part, a TLV stream obtaining part, a component data obtaining part, a code conversion part, a partial TS generation part, and a sending part, receives a sending signal sent on the basis of an MMT/TLV mode, obtains a TLV stream from the sending signal, obtains component data involved in specific content from the TLV stream, converts the component data into MPEG-2 TS mode-based element stream data, locally generates a MPEG-2 TS mode-based partial TS using association data involved in attribute information comprising the element stream data and the specific content, and sends the partial TS.
