Abstract:
Disclosed is a digital copyright-applied EPUB file generating apparatus, which generates an EPUB file in an e-book format from a literary work made using various programs (e.g., a word-processing program) capable of creating content. An EPUB environment setting unit sets at least one parameter for generating the EPUB file from the literary work. A page-specific image generation unit generates an image file for each page of the literary work based on the set parameter. An EPUB individual file generation unit generates individual files, which form e-book content of the literary work, in addition to a first file including a table of contents of the literary work and shortcut information thereof and a second file including publication information of the literary work. An EPUB packaging unit generates the EPUB file by compressing the individual files and the page-specific image files into a single file. According to the present invention, the literary work is made using various programs capable of creating content, and then a printing job is performed using a virtual printer. Accordingly, the EPUB file in the e-book format can be easily generated.
