Abstract:
In the disclosed device: the AV synchronization control section (120) controls the video decoding section (105) and the audio decoding section (107) in a manner such that the timing at which the video decoding section (105) outputs video data is synchronized with the timing at which the audio decoding section (107) outputs audio data; and the clock generating section (121) changes the rate of the AV synchronization clock in accordance with the operation mode.
