Abstract:
A digital image scaling method and an integrated system thereof are provided. The digital image scaling method includes: (1) obtaining the field scaling initial step strength and the line scaling initial step strength, according to the field scaling proportion and the line scaling proportion of the image; (2) accumulating the field scaling initial step strength and the line scaling initial step strength according to the predetermined rule, and obtaining the field scaling step strength and the line scaling step strength; (3) obtaining the field scaling weight coefficient and the line scaling weight coefficient according to the field scaling step strength and the line scaling step strength; (4) the field scaling is applied to the video data which is stored in the buffer memory and to be scaled according to the field scaling weight coefficient, and then the line scaling is applied to the video data which is field scaled according to the line scaling weight coefficient; (5) outputting video data which is scaled.
