Title:
DIGITAL INPUT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1983/002833
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A digital input device for a digital signal processing system, in which chattering generated by switching of contacts or noise components produced by electro-magnetic induction are eliminated. Logic "1" signals from a multiplexer (105) are directed through a latching flip-flop (108) for application to a counter (114) for time-shared multiplexing where the signals are counted. Each counted value for a plurality of input signals is stored in each memory (117). When all the counted values become logic "1" or "0", the counter (114) produces CARRY or BORROW signal, which is supplied to a J-K flip-flop (113). The J-K flip-flop produces an input signal having a predetermined waveform from which noise components have been eliminated.
