Abstract:

Provided is a VR content consumption method based on a digital map. On a map area of a digital map, geographic features and terrain features, satisfying an outdoor map and predetermined conditions, are displayed at proper locations on the outdoor map. When a user selects any one of the geographic features and terrain features displayed on the map area, 3D content associated with the geographic feature and terrain feature is viewable in virtual reality in a new window.
