Abstract:
Provided are a digital register security system, method, and program that can prevent shoplifting even when a tag has been disabled or removed from a product. A digital register security system (1000) that comprises: a tag movement determination unit (111) that detects when a product to which a tag has been affixed has been taken from a display; a surveillance camera (11) that captures an image of the face of a guest who took the product; a storage unit (130) that temporarily saves the captured image of the face; a control unit (110) that determines whether the product has been settled for; and a suspicious person determination unit (115) that checks the faces of guests leaving a store and, if the abovementioned guest leaves the store without the product having been settled for, registers the image of the face of the guest as the face of a suspicious person.
