Abstract:
The present invention provides a digital signage system whereby it is possible to more accurately collect log data when a consumer takes a product in hand. The present invention comprises IC tags (10) which are attached to products, and a platform (20) whereupon the products are loaded. The present invention further comprises one or a plurality of reader-writers (21), an management database (31), and a control unit (32). When the product is loaded upon the platform (20), the reader-writers (21) are capable of communicating with the IC tags (11) and reading ID information unique to the IC tags. The management database (31) stores log data relating to the IC tags (10) being separated from the platform (20), in association with the ID information. When the product is separated from the platform (20) and it is determined that the communication state between the reader-writers (21) and the IC tags (10) has been interrupted, the control unit (32) records in the management database (31) the log data for the IC tags (10) whereto the communication state has been interrupted.
