Abstract:
A color-difference signal recognizes a value of a color-difference signal U and
a value of a color-difference signal V from a color-difference signal U/V for
each pixel and allocates a value of a luminance signal Y, a recognized value of
the color-difference signal U, and the value of the color-difference signal V
for each pixel. When the value of the color-difference signal U and the value of
the color-difference signal V recognized by the color-difference process unit
are values to be intrinsically recognized as the values of the color-difference signal
V and the value of the color-difference signal U, an inversion process unit inverts
the recognition of the value of the color-difference signal U and the value of
the color-difference signal V allocated for each pixel, by the color-difference process
unit. A conversion process unit converts the value of the luminance signal Y
of each pixel, the value of the color-difference signal U and the value of the color-difference
signal V of each pixel finally recognized into values of the primary color signals
R, G, B.
