Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a dimension measuring device that can contactlessly measure the distance between two points which are not on the same plane. The present invention is provided with the following: a 3D image acquisition unit (110) that acquires 3D images of an object which was captured in frame units; a 3D model creation unit (120) that creates a 3D model of the object by synthesizing the multi-frame 3D images; a characteristic extraction unit (130a) that extracts a plurality of characteristic sections which are contained in the 3D model; a display control unit (160a) that generates an image indicating the position of each of the plurality of characteristic sections in the 3D image or the 3D model, and that prompts a user to select two characteristic sections from among the plurality of characteristic sections; and a dimension measuring unit (150a) that calculates the distance between the two characteristic sections selected by the user.
