Abstract:
A dimmable LED driver includes a rectifier unit (1) and a constant current switch (5) electrically connected with the rectifier unit (1), and also includes a control unit (4) which adjusts the output current from the constant current switch (5) according to the detected phase and a phase detection unit (3) of which the input end connects with the rectifier unit (1). The phase detection unit (3), the control unit (4) and the constant current switch (5) are electrically connected successively. The dimmable LED driver can cooperate with a phase cut dimmer and can control the current output from the constant current switch (5) according to the detected phase of the output signals from the phase cut dimmer, and therefore, an LED light source can be dimmed by the phase cut dimmer based on the constant current drive.
