Abstract:
Disclosed is a dimming device (10) which comprises: a light guide body (2) which emits, from an output surface, light that has been guided inside the light guide body (2) from an end surface thereof; an LED (3) which emits light towards inside the light guide body (2) and which is disposed at a position facing the end surface of the light guide body (2); and a plurality of light switching elements (41) for extracting light from the light guide body (2) and which can control the light extraction rate. The plurality of light switching elements (41) are arranged along the optical waveguide direction of the light emitted by the LED (3) and adjacent light switching elements (41) in the optical waveguide direction are connected in an optically continuous structure.
